Graduated a classical pianist from Trinity college of Music, he then moved to S.A.E. UK for the Certificate diploma in audio engineering and music production in 1986-87. He then took courses in analogue synthesis at the gateway studios and piano tuning courses at the London college of furniture. Further courses like the new (1987) DX7 AKAI S900 and many more. In 1988 he was the first musician producer to introduce digital music production-sampling (AKAI S900- Ensoniq Mirage , etc) in Cyprus and ran the first Mac plus computer and Digital Performer 1.2 software on the island. Soon he was the owner of a small garage studio having produced a lot of cover versions as well as original music for Radio/TV and eurovision entry's. 

1989 he created a P.A. company (Prosound Audio ltd), the first P.A. company in Cyprus with high end gear and working as a live engineer with almost any artist that visited Cyprus for live concerts. In 1992 he sold his share of the P.A. company and expanded his Garage studio in a fully pro facility introducing  24 track analogue recording (studer A827) and a Soundtracs IL 4832 as a mixing board. Lexicon 300/480/Eventide/Newmann/AKG and more goody's were some of Prosound recording studios Gear. 

In 1996 City studio ltd was founded. A new place (check out Gallery /old studio). Music for TV / Radio / Theater as well as the first record label (Ci ty records) releasing at least 6 albums with best selling artists Constandinos Christoforou and Mixalis X"Yiannis. In 1996 Andreas wrote and produced the song for the Cyprus entry for the ESC. Cyprus ended in the 9th position that year and it was the only time so far that UK gave Cyprus 12 points.

1997 Andreas Releases his first solo album "Natures Lullaby" a new age classical album featuring Andreas at the piano and the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. The second album was released in 2006 which included the music from the TV Series "VASILIKI".  

In 1999-2005 Andreas became the 3rd musical director and conductor for the semi-pro group Diastasis (www.diastasis.net) producing for the group projects like: Cats, Les Miz , Oliver , Musical moments and many more. Andreas was the sound designer and sound engineer for the Group for the years 1988-2005. He continues doing some business with them from time to time.

In 2006 Andreas produced the Cyprus entry for the ESC again. 2007-2009 Andreas was busy writing music for TV series and talk shows as well as live gig's as an engineer mostly for Opera and ballet music. 

In his 22 year carrier, Andreas was mostly working as a solo producer / engineer / musician in the studio and live environments.

Andreas' dream was to create a large scale facility. That came true in December 2008 with the new facility you see now.

Born 1966, Andreas is a full member of the PRS-MCPS, father of four kids and three dogs and married with Tina, the admin and dubbing manager.

In-house sound engineer for the Music Production Studio, Simon has years of experience in the field and a passion for high quality sound. Simon's background comes from a love for sound and 5 years in London studios and live music venues working alongside top engineers and producers.

He is also responsible for the technical running of all our studios.

Simon also draws on experience from, and continues to act as a live sound engineer for venues, theaters and large festivals. He has worked on most of the large consoles including the latest Midas Pro6, the Soundcraft Vi6 and the Digico SD7 and SD8.

Simon regularly reviews new sound equipment in world leading pro audio magazines ‘Audio Media’ and 'Lighting and Sound International'.

He is an expert in the modern Pro Tools and Apple music technology environment.

Artists who work alongside Simon, consistently have nothing but praise for the twenty something engineer who’s knowledge far surpasses his young age.

Alexia studied Travel and Tourism Management in Intercollege, Nicosia and speaks, Greek, English, German and Spanish. 

She started learning German at Goethe Institut here in Cyprus for 2 years and then went to Mannheim, Germany for more intensive courses. Afterwards, she had Spanish language courses in Verbum, School of Spanish in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Later on, she lived and worked in Madrid, Spain as an English Teacher for employees in large companies such as Iberia, PricewaterhouseCoopers and others.

In 2006 she returned to Cyprus, worked at Sigma TV Station for a 1,5 years and since January 2008 has been working at City Studios. In June 2010 she started working full time with us.

Maria studied a diploma of Graphic Design and a bachelor of Graphic Communication at Intercollege.

She has experience in video and photo editing, photographer and camerawoman work since 2003. She has worked with many Cyprus photographers and carried out work on many video clips and TV spots and has been with us from October 2010 handling all of our TV shows and various multimedia jobs.

Tasos studied Music Technology And Acoustics for 3 1/2 years in The Technological Institute of Rethymno Crete, Then achieved an Audio Visual Communication Diploma in Frederic University Of Technology in 2007. Tasos started working at City Studios in 2007. He has already worked through four soap operas and about 40 series of Cartoons. He is now in charge of dubbing studio B which is dedicated completely to cartoons.

Has been working at City Studios for almost one and a half years. She studied broadcasting with a pathway in sound design at Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication in UK, from which she graduated in 2008.

During her studies in the UK, she had work experience as a sound operator at Theatro Technis in London and also in the crew for Rave On Air 2007 and 2008.

Katerina Lapathioti from Larnaca, Cyprus, studied music technology and acoustics in The Technological Institute of Rethymno, Crete. In 2003 she took piano lessons and achieved a diploma of grade 8. Since 2009 she has been working at City Studios and is responsible for Dubbing Studio E.

Andreas has graduated from Frederick Institute of Technology in 2010 with an Audio Visual Diploma. He studied a wide range of skills from; Graphic Design, Photography, Camera Work, After Effects, Writing Scripts for TV, Adverts, Short Films and Video Editing not to mention a course on Pro Tools Sound Editing for radio and moving images. Frederick Institute also awarded Andreas with a Commendation Certificate for his excellent work. 

He is passionate about music, computers and computer gaming with a view to become an AVID Pro Audio Designer in Game Audio. Andreas’ experience until now as one of our full time dubbing engineers, includes video and audio editing for several Cypriot production houses and TV stations. He is a very keen and motivated individual with a good footing in everything media.

George joined City Studios in August 2010. He holds a diploma in Audio Engineering from S.A.E. London and a LTCL diploma in solo piano. He has been working in broadcast productions and live sound since 2003. He has great experience in both multi-camera and single-camera environments as a location recording engineer for various comedy and drama series produced for Cypriot TV stations but he has also done his bit in video editing at the start of his career, which gave him some hands-on experience with Avid.

He has also done some voluntary work at the BBC Proms back in 2008, assisting with the pre-production and production of the events. George is obsessed with high quality recording and audio production.

City was brought to us as a new born puppy. We loved him too much. Unfortunately we lost him too early. He is always in our hearts.
